When Trump And Putin Shook Hands
In a hall full of delegates from across the globe, President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin shook hands to mark a ‘new’ friendship at the G20 Summit on July 7.
World leaders were a witness to this much-anticipated first meeting between the two leaders.
Trump had earlier stated to the media that nobody had really known if Russia had been solely responsible for meddling in the 2016 elections, which had resulted in him becoming the President of the United States of America.
With the world’s attention singularly fixated on the two world leaders, the meet between the leaders of the world’s two superpowers definitely got a lot of press, with multiple news agencies speaking of Putin’s apparent dominance, particularly with Trump’s famous handshake missing from the scene.
While the two leaders met for close to two hours, exact details of the meet weren’t made public.
