Robert Mueller Scheduled to Meet Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday
A Judiciary spokesperson made an announcement that Robert Mueller, who is currently in charge of the special counsel investigating the Russian involvement in the U.S. 2016 elections and a possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, is requisite to meet the top members of the Senate Judiciary on Wednesday.
He will talk with the chairman of the Committee, GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, along with top Democrat, Dianne Feinstein of California, GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island.
Any power struggle between the two leading parties must be avoided during the investigation, hence Mueller’s attempt to meet with the Senate Judiciary in order to have clear talks with the Senators.
