Musk’s SpaceX Launches Top-Secret Spy Satellite For U.S. Government

SpaceX, earlier today, launched a top-secret spy satellite for the U.S. government, following with the successful landing of the booster for recycling.

The unmanned rocket launched off the NASA-leased pad from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Being SpaceX’s first mission on behalf of the National Recon Office, no details were divulged about the launched satellite. SpaceX, instead, focused on the successful landing of the booster. Having completed its task, the booster landed back at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

SpaceX is known for its goal of attempting to return its boosters for reuse, having used their first recycled rocket just last month.

Elon Musk, the man behind SpaceX provided his comments on the successful launch and landing, stating that all was good except for the “unusually high” upper wind during liftoff.
