Man Opens Bag of Waitrose Chips…Finds Just ONE Chip
We are all very aware of the phenomenon surrounding the chips industry, where an inflated bag only means one thing – it isn’t full by a long shot.
But a man from Nottingham had an even more unpleasant experience of opening a bag of Waitrose chips to only find that there was just a single measly chip in it.
Yes you read that right – one lousy chip.
In the video posted by Helen Abbott, you can hear him say,”That’s a new sort of scrimping on crisps, innit?”
While Waitrose Chips are meant to be low calorie chips, I think they went a tad bit too far on keeping to that promise!
Mashable did reach out to the company, whom said that they were “baffled” that “there was only a lonely crisp in the bag”. “We’re sorry for the disappointment and will be looking into what happened to the crisp’s friends to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
Waitrose has made it clear that they would like to get in touch with the customer in order to “make things right”.
Now to go look for my bag of chips…
