John Oliver’s Induction Into The “Trump Attacked Me On Twitter” Hall Of Fame
Well hold on to your seats, cause a new hall of fame just rode into town and it’s probably more relevant than the one you took a photo with on your last trip to Los Angeles!
The Notorious host of the Late Show, Stephen Colbert’s ‘Hall of Fame’ is really a thing, with the first inductees being British satirical host John Oliver, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinksi.
Not sure about you, but I’m starting to think this hall of fame might run out of plaques to give considering the speed at which Trump takes to Twitter for his ramblings!
In the video below, John Oliver takes to thanking Stephen Colbert for the “Honor” bestowed on him – “I just wanted to say a kind of thank you—that’s a thank you with an inflection up at the end because it doesn’t feel like an honor—for putting me in the “Trump Attacked me on Twitter Hall of Fame.”
Oliver, who had completely forgotten that Trump had attacked him on the social media platform, spoke of how while the accusations of his show being boring might be true, his entire staff had still been unable to trace who, if anyone, had even invited Trump in the first place!
Fellow inductees and hosts of the Morning Joe, Brzezinksi and Scarborough, who are also together, had a mixed range of emotions, from “this is truly an honor of a lifetime,” for Brzezinksi, to Scarborough exclaiming his disbelief by commenting – “Is this really happening?“.
Yes, yes it is Joe.
